In conjunction with Valentine's Day, we have launched a new service where we have combined
traditional floral delivery with 'live' music performance, and converging this innovative service with 3G mobile communications,
such that you can now view the Surprise
Delivery remotely on your 3G-enabled mobile phone, wherever you are.
From the time the Musician presents the gift to your recipient, till he performs the last note of
your love song request, you can be there to witness every smile, every laugh, every moment, in real-time.
For the romantic, you can even sing along remotely from the phone while the musician gives music accompaniment
on the recipient's end!
What happens at a Surprise Delivery:
- On arrival at Recipient's location, The Olive 3 delivery personnel calls secondary contact (the one who is coordinating the surprise) as provided by Sender.
- Before meeting Recipient, The Olive 3 delivery personnel contacts Sender via a 3G video call.
- Recipient arrives. The Olive 3 musician presents the gift and performs the song dedication. Sender views the entire delivery process in real-time via his
phone.
- Sender may want to further surprise the Recipient by speaking to her/ him from the phone at the end of the delivery.
What you'll need to begin your 3G experience:
- A 3G-enabled mobile phone and a USIM Card (a 3G SIM card)
- Insert the USIM card into your 3G-enabled mobile phone and you are ready to go!
*Both the caller and the recipient of the call must be within a 3G coverage zone and using video-call capable handsets. Video calls will be
interrupted if one party moves out of the 3G coverage zone.

No 3G Phone?
For those who may not own a 3G phone, you can request to have a video taken of the delivery for a small fee of S$20, which covers the service, administration and postage costs. The video will be cut on CD-ROM and mailed to you. Kindly note that the video will be shot using a digital camera on video mode. Due to file size and ease of transfer, the video will be edited and encoded in Windows standard WMV format. In the event that the video cannot be shot due to poor lighting conditions, on recipient's request, or company policy (recipient's), The Olive 3 will refund the amount paid for this service not exceeding S$20.00.
Service Terms & Conditions:
- For local calls received from or made to The Olive 3 3G-enabled (M1) mobile phone may be charged depending on your mobile phone operator. Please contact your
respective mobile phone operator for the rates. (Singtel - 1626 / M1 - 1627 / Starhub - 1633). Cost of the The Olive 3 will not be responsible for charges incurred on your
mobile phone.
- Audio and video quality of the 3G video call is dependent on the Sender's mobile phone.
- The 3G service is only available within the 3G network coverage area. There may be places where access to the 3G service is limited or unavailable. Connection
and quality of the video call may be affected by the strength of the signal and your distance from the nearest antenna. These factors are beyond our control. Hence, The Olive 3 shall not be liable or in any way responsible to the Client in the event that the video call cannot be made or received, or the video call is not of
optimal quality.
